WHo are we?

The project’s description and its coordination with the E.U.

The Eco-Toolbox project directly benefits the European Union in multiple ways. It contributes to environmental sustainability by raising awareness and equipping young people and youth workers with the knowledge and skills to address climate change and environmental concerns. By empowering and engaging youth, the project aligns with the E.U.’s goals of promoting active citizenship and youth participation.

Through game-based learning and innovative training, it supports non-formal education and skills development, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The project also promotes international collaboration and knowledge sharing among E.U. N.G.Os., facilitating the exchange of good practices in environmental actions and youth work. Ultimately, the project promotes social integration and cohesion by bringing together young people from diverse backgrounds to work towards a sustainable future.

The primary objectives of the Eco-Toolbox project -as mentioned above- revolve around utilizing Game-Based Learning (GBL) to empower young people and youth workers to address the climate change crisis and environmental issues. The project aims to:

  • Raise awareness of the importance of environmental crisis and climate change adaptation needs.
  • Advocate for the active involvement of youth in taking action towards a low-carbon lifestyle.
  • Provide non-formal education on climate change crisis to young people and youth workers, equipping them with the necessary tools and competences for more effective engagement.
  • Highlight the effectiveness of the connection between GBL processes and green practices education.
  • Share and promote good practices in implementing environmental actions.
  • Introduce an innovative GBL training package for youth workers, guiding them in delivering quality training on environmental issues and climate change to young people.
  • Communicate the importance of protecting the environment through the implementation of green practices in youth work.
  • Empower young people who are most affected by the environmental crisis.
  • Foster creative and innovative solutions in combatting climate change.
  • Young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are also the leaders of today. We believe in the power of youth to drive change and shape a sustainable future. That’s why we are launching the Eco-Toolbox project, aimed at empowering young people to tackle environmental concerns and climate change.
