|PR1| Methodological E-Guide: The "Eco-Toolbox Methodological e-Guide" focuses on innovative climate change adaptation techniques
It aims to provide practical guidance for young people in adopting a climate change adaptation mindset and implementing innovative strategies in eco-friendly youth work. It aims to provide practical guidance for young people in adopting a climate change adaptation mindset and implementing innovative strategies in eco-friendly youth work. The e-Guide covers various aspects, including enhancing knowledge on climate change adaptation, understanding its impact at local and global levels, engaging in climate action, promoting youth environmental education, and offering methodological recommendations.
Led by the European Center for Research and Regional Development (ECRRED), the guide consists of two parts. Firstly, a quantitative survey will be conducted with 250 participants, randomly selecting 50 young individuals from each partner country. The survey will provide essential data for developing the e-Guide. Secondly, the Methodological e-Guide will be composed by ECRRED, in collaboration with partner organizations, to ensure comprehensive content and coordination. The e-Guide will be available for download on the project website and will be translated into multiple languages, including Maltese, Greek, Latvian, Slovenian, Hungarian, and English.
This wide accessibility aims to reach associated partners, youth workers, educators, trainers, the general public, young people, and decision-makers. The division of work among partners involves developing research methodology and tools, conducting fieldwork, analyzing results, translating the e-Guide, and incorporating it into the project website. Partners will collaborate through online consultations to draft their respective sections, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive output. The final result will be published through various media platforms, including publications, books, and the internet.
|PR2| Trainers Educational Material: The Genista Research Foundation will develop the "Trainers' e-Seminar Curriculum on Environmental Issues" to support youth professionals in non-conventional environments
This comprehensive curriculum focuses on building key competences and enhancing professionalism. It covers concepts, training methodologies, equality, diversity, and evaluation models. The curriculum includes interactive activities to help young learners understand environmental issues. The production involves collaborative work among partners, including defining specifications, developing content, finalizing the curriculum, and translating it into multiple languages. The curriculum will be available for download on the project website, ensuring long-term impact and sustainability.
|PR3| Online Educational Game (Serious Games)
The “Eco-Friendly” Educational Serious Game is being developed by Institouto Koinonikis Kainotomias Kai Synoxis (namely Fifty-Fifty) to provide an innovative and enjoyable learning experience on environmental issues. The game aims to advance skills, promote environmental protection, foster understanding of climate change, and empower young people to become active citizens. It utilizes game-based learning principles, multimedia content, and interactive scenarios to engage learners and enhance knowledge retention.
The game will be designed and developed by Fifty-Fifty, the leading partner of the action. The production involves tasks such as defining technical specifications, designing and developing the game, incorporating feedback, translating the content, and integrating it into the project website. The game will be accessible to all users and contribute to comprehensive educational tasks in sustainable development contexts.
|PR4| Audiovisual Materials
The “How to save Planet Earth” Animated Video Series is being developed by Zavod Boter to empower young people to take action on environmental issues. The series aims to deepen their understanding, engage their community, and enable them to create their own animations to communicate their messages to decision-makers and the public. The videos will focus on saving specific species of animals from climate change, with each video featuring different species and their habitats. The series will emphasize soft skills such as collaboration and critical thinking. Five animated videos will be produced as part of the project.
The production of the series involves several tasks and a collaborative approach. The division of work includes deciding on the aims of the video animation, designing the script-text, developing the animation, creating graphics, incorporating feedback and final tuning, translating the animation, and incorporating it into the project website. Zavod Boter, as the leader of the action, will closely collaborate with the coordinator and all partners to ensure successful implementation.
The methodology includes collaborative decision-making, script development, specialized development and graphic design, feedback and refinement, translation into multiple languages, and incorporation into the project website. The series will be accessible to all young people and will contribute to promoting youth participation, environmental awareness, and active citizenship.
